Beautiful light and space in this new Greek restaurant. With the executive chef hailing from Scorpios in Mykonos, each dish was colourful, well-presented and full of those recognisable Mediterranean flavours – but at a much higher level.
Is that summer Santorini break fading into distant memory? At this new Greek spot in Fitzrovia, fantasies of dramatic mountainscapes, that sparkling sea and sunny days in whitewashed villages come flooding back. It’s a London twist on those delightful tavernas you practically live in on holiday, with classic dishes given a playful modern twist (monkfish souvlaki with sumac, say, or hummus with smoked eel and toasted buckwheat). Most recommended is the leg of lamb with herb crust, to share – a special-occasion showstopper.
