Because it's zero kilometres to all my favourite things when I am in the mountains: the slopes and the (best) house negroni.
The Upper Engadine valley is Switzerland at its most Swiss: soaring alps, blue lakes, enchanting forests. It’s snow-blanketed in winter, lush in summer. That famously pure air is there all year round, though, and the formal, classic five-star Suvretta House is perfectly placed to make the most of it, whatever the season. Especially so in the colder months, when an adjacent ski lift takes winter sportsmen straight to the slopes.
