THE JOURNAL
The year 2020? Mr Jordan Firstman doesn’t know her. Unlike the rest of us, the Instagram comedian has had a fantastic year, shooting to fame for his hyper-hilarious impressions of abstract concepts (banana bread’s publicist; a straight guy who wants to order a French onion soup but is worried it sounds too gay; the friend who thinks you neeeeed that shirt), winning himself more than 840,000 Instagram followers in the process.
Vogue branded him “the funniest man on the internet”, he starred in fashion campaigns for Versace and Thom Browne and even made it onto MR PORTER’s list of men who made a difference in 2020. Truly, he’s brought joy to the world when we needed it most, and we loved him so much that we asked him to film our festive message. He was, as you’d expect, a pleasure to work with. Just don’t say “elf bells” or “turkey disco” around him ever again.
