Timothy Klingender - Men's Style Council Member

Based in Sydney, Mr Timothy Klingender is a highly established member of the global art industry. He has worked for Bonhams, and Sotheby’s for 20 years – where he was the International Director between 1998 and 2009. After establishing a Contemporary Art Department for Sotheby’s Australia in 1994, he founded Sotheby’s Aboriginal Art Department in 1996, creating an ethical and international market for Indigenous Australian art. He also formed Tim Klingender Fine Art in 2009 and is currently senior consultant for Australian Art at Sotheby’s New York.
