Ms Elisabeth Prueitt and Mr Chad Robertson opened Tartine in San Francisco in 2002 and since then have built a loyal fanbase of pastry enthusiasts around the globe. This new outpost in the hip Hannam district is their first foray overseas. They have handed over the dough to award-winning pastry chef Ms Lee Hyun-Hee and chef Mr Edward Lee, co-founder of Baroque Bakery and Buzza Pizza in Seoul. There’s a toast bar and pastries galore, and it’s also worth trying the changing menu of frozen yoghurt.
