'Hoop' stripes have long been associated as the pattern of choice for rugby teams of the 19th and 20th centuries. Drake's polo shirt takes cues from traditional British styles, made from cotton-jersey with a white twill collar. It has slightly higher armholes than your usual, so it's suited to sport coats and blazers.
