Photographer Margaret Bourke-White was a forerunner - she was the first woman to work in combat zones during World War II and the first foreigner permitted to document the Soviet Union. She also captured her hometown of New York City, with work like this Douglas 4 plane flying over Manhattan in 1939. The picture is printed and framed by Sonic Editions at just 495 copies.
