Sir Terence Conran’s legendary Bibendum, which he opened with Mr Paul Hamlyn in 1987, has been given a 21st-century reboot, courtesy of two-Michelin-starred French chef Mr Claude Bosi. The restaurant is as elegant as ever and, thanks to its enormous windows, flooded with natural light. The iconic stained-glass window of the Michelin Man has also been retained. Alongside brains, sweetbreads and tripe, the menu features Dover sole, pigeon and chicken cottage pie, and desserts such as wild strawberry vacherin, which is served with 100-year-old balsamic vinegar.
