What’s New: Our Pick Of The Latest Releases
Words by The MR PORTER Team
7 March 2022

It’s been just a minute since we last updated you on the newness at MR PORTER. While we are unapologetic about the good stuff that keeps coming, we can but make the case for making room for it in your wardrobe.
With that in mind, and the fact that it’s a new month, we’ve selected five of the freshest drops to see you through March and beyond. We’re thinking springtime knitwear to fall in love with, a shirt with freshness printed all over it, plus a major upgrade on the sweater front. For all this, we remain sorry not sorry and present five of the freshest new drops on MR PORTER this week.

01.
The amorous AMI PARIS cardigan
Valentine’s Day may be done and dusted for 2022, but anything with the Ami de Coeur emblem on it is hard not to love year-round. With its oversized intarsia motif, this cardie is emblematic of meaningful friendship, a key source of inspiration for the Parisian label’s designer, Mr Alexandre Mattiussi. Its cosy heft and slouchy “just so” fit will feel like a warm hug from a dear pal.

02.
The leafy Jil Sander shirt
If you struggle to keep a cactus alive, then Jil Sander’s leafy aloha shirt might just be the answer if you like your foliage, but never have any luck with the real thing. Sporting a botanical print featuring the Swiss cheese plant – the ultimate retro-revival houseplant – this jazzy number will have you looking like the green-fingered aficionado you always wanted to be.

03.
The uber-luxe Tom FORD biker jacket
As the undisputed first lord of luxury, Mr Tom Ford’s lust-worthy creations regularly have us surrendering our hard-earned cash at first sight. Once you feel the buttery-soft texture of this lamb-leather biker, you’ll become an instant disciple too, whether you have a Harley on the driveway or not.

04.
The modern Comme Des Garçons blazer
Since designer Ms Rei Kawakubo established Comme des Garçons in 1969, it has garnered a cult following worldwide for its fresh, contemporary melding of Japanese and Gallic design elements. This deconstructed blazer is a clean-cut investment piece that will withstand seasonal shifts in taste and no doubt become one of your tailoring staples.

05.
The red-hot Amiri sweatshirt
Being early spring, it’s not quite sizzling in the northern hemisphere, but AMIRI’s flame-embellished sweatshirt will have things feeling sultry in no time. And the natural style partner to a prize piece from California’s premier rock’n’roll label? Rugged, slashed denim of the sort you’d find in Mr Axl Rose’s wardrobe, of course.
