THE JOURNAL

You may or may not know it – depending on how good a son you are – but 16 June, as in this impending Sunday, is Father’s Day (in the US and UK, at any rate). You can celebrate this date however you wish, of course. Given we have just reminded you of the date, you have no excuse not to mark its passing in some way. But may we advise you that whatever you do, you consider the T-shirts below.
Why? Well, because these are no ordinary T-shirts. These are the fruits of the “Father And Son Day” initiative that MR PORTER has supported for the past five years. The campaign, set up by Messrs Daniel Marks and Jack Dyson in partnership with Orlebar Brown, is designed to increase awareness about male cancers and raise money for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. And if you were to pick up one of our exclusive tees, the net profit* from the sale will go to the Royal Marsden Cancer charity. How nice.

As you will see, there are various slogans to choose from. Are you a “Best Man”? A “Daddy”? Or maybe a ray of “Sonshine”? Whatever your preference, celebrate Father’s Day in style, and help donate to a good cause while you’re at it.
From 7 to 16 June 2019, net profits from exclusive Orlebar Brown T-shirts sold in the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland will go to The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity (Registered Charity No. 1095197), a world-leading cancer centre based in London that pioneers new treatments and uses its research every day to provide the very best in diagnosis, treatment and care for its patients.
*“Net profits” means the sale price of the product less operational and landing costs (including transportation fees, customs, duties, taxes, insurance, currency conversion, crating, handling and payment fees).
