Six Fresh Picks From LOEWE That Went Straight Into Our Wish List

If you’re anything like us, back to work means a return to the routine, sure. But it also means that it’s time to refresh your wardrobe ahead of the colder months. So, while you were busy making the most of the last glimpse of summer sun and shopping your favourite designers in our Sale, we made sure to have plenty of new arrivals in store for you just in time for the new season. LOEWE’s AW23 collection has got to be one of our favourite things to land on MR PORTER’s virtual shelves in recent days. Presented at Paris Fashion Week back in January, the line-up is filled with sculptural jackets, metallic overcoats and satin separates as well as coveted accessories such as reimagined Puzzle bags and endlessly wearable Chelsea boots. Below, we’ve picked six pieces that went straight to the top of our Wish List.
01. The leather jacket
Founded by leatherworkers in 1846, LOEWE has spent the decades since perfecting the art. So, it knows what it is doing when it comes to leather jackets. Taking design cues from classic chore styles, this navy one has been handmade in the label’s Madrid atelier and detailed with its anagram logo at the back.
02. The intarsia sweater
Creative director Mr Jonathan Anderson’s fascination with nature has been a recurring theme through LOEWE’s designs. This sweater is no exception. Designed in a relaxed shape, it’s woven with the label’s mushroom-like pattern, which will add a touch of visual interest to any outfit.
03. The classic Chelsea boots
Chelsea boots are likely the most versatile shoes you could own come autumn, so don’t mind if we suggest this pair by LOEWE. They’re made from brushed-suede for a lived-in appeal and designed to have exaggerated round toe caps.
04. The everyday bag
The Puzzle bag was Mr Jonathan Anderson’s debut bag for LOEWE – still one of the brand’s best-sellers, it’s since been reimagined in a variety of sizes and colourways. We’re particularly big fans of this black one, as it’ll work well with everything you already own.
05. The oversized shearling jacket
If you’re in the market for a proper jacket that’ll keep you toasty in the winter months, consider LOEWE’s aviator-inspired shearling one – it’s the true definition of “investment piece”. The slightly oversized fit will accommodate plenty of layers underneath.
