Brawn
A regular on “favourite restaurants in London” lists, Mr Ed Wilson’s tucked-away neighbourhood fixture was one of the city’s pioneers of the small-plates, ingredient-first style, and is still doing it with aplomb. The menu reads like a long list of the sort of things you just want to eat – simple, yes, but sourced with such dedication and plated with imagination, bringing together joyful textures and flavours. Examples include coppa Trentina, radishes with chicory and smoked roe, pork chop with endive and mustard sauce… Good luck not over-ordering.
