The Warehouse Hotel - Men's Style Council Place

As the name suggests, this 37-room boutique hotel on Robertson Quay was built as a godown back in the 19th century. Officially, it was used to store cardamom and star anise; today, a custom light instillation represents the pulleys once used to hoist sacks of spices onto docking ships. Unofficially, this road was once called Chiu Long Lo, or “spirit shed street”, alluding other the trade of other goods, which is certainly something to think about in the bustling, well stocked bar or sharing popiah (local spring rolls) around a circular table in the divine restaurant, Pó.
