Those in favour of responsible, considered design will appreciate Veja's 'Rio Branco' sneakers - they're made from the brand's innovative Alveomesh, which is formed from recycled plastic bottles. Lined in organic cotton, they're panelled with suede and have leather heel tabs and 'V' logos at the sides. The supportive soles are moulded from wild Amazonian rubber.
