Born in Liverpool, Mr Anthony Quinn is a novelist and was also film critic for The Independent from 1998 until 2013. His first novel, The Rescue Man, won the Authors’ Club Best First Novel Award in 2009 while his latest book, Freya, about the friendship between two aspiring female writers who meet in 1945, was released in March 2016.
